Where is the Best Singles Scene in Minneapolis, Minnesota?

Been here several times, including my bachelorette party and that of a good friend. Guys there are very willing to partake in the festivities (both of us got guys to give us their boxers– it was actually pretty gross)!! However, it’s almost always WAY crowded, you can’t move on the dance floor, the bouncers are rude (as many are, I’ve learned), expensive cover and long lines for drinks. But, there is a good variety of music (top 40 as well as 80’s), and people are usually very drunk and entertaining.Pros + Good Music, Dance FloorCons – Expensive, Meat Market, REALLY crowded

Remember that girl in high school who tried too hard to be popular? Chino Latino is the restaurant equivalent.Examples:- The jerk chicken is obscured by 50 pieces of fried plantain sticking out of it….

The 331, located on the corner of 13th and University in the heart of Nordeast Minneapolis’s Arts District is just as colorful as it used to be, only in a different sort of way. Previously a biker bar with a reputation for being a place a gal could, um, “get stuff”, the new owners have recreated it with a fresh coat of paint, a stage they fill with musicians and artists of all kinds, and a small kitchen serving up a delicious tuna melt (capers!) and sweet potato fries. The place is hopping on Fridays and Saturdays, inside and out; and the scene out on the sidewalk with the smokers is worth sitting at a picnic table.Pros + Friendly, good-looking people. Home of a spelling bee with liquor, the Roe Family Singers, and, at times, Le Cirque Rouge Burlesque. Great people watching.Cons – Not much parking. Wall-to-wall people on Saturday nights.

I went here last year with a party of 8. The wait wasn’t too long and the staff was nice throughout the visit. Seating was limited since we were there in the winter and the patio was not open. They have a great selection of drinks. A couple of the girls in our party ordered the big volcano (I think that was the name) drink topped off with a flame burning in the middle. Beer was enough for me. Pizza was great, much better than your average chain pizza variety. Overall dinner was a great experience and I loved the ambiance of this place. Pros + Pizza, CocktailsCons – Space (In the winter)

made reservation for VIP 1mth in advance for my big day at this place. I was very excited at how they sold it to me over the phone. I mean the price was steep but what they promised made up for it. Bottom line when I got there my party section was not reserved or decorated as promised. In fact they couldn’t even remember that I had one reserved even though I called the night before to confirm it. Okay everything was a go right, well wrong. everything was total disappointment. I advise to never book a party at this place. I didn’t have my party setup until after I got there (I”m glad I showed up 1hr before my guest) the cake didnt even have my name on it and I had to ask for a b-day shot out from the DJ my self (how fun). not to mentioned that they had my funds tied up for 10business days after I kept calling them to tell them I have a hold on my debitcard even though the price of my party was already deducted. not by surprise no one never returned my calls. after 4 tries I said forget
