Where is the Best Singles Scene in Baltimore, Maryland?
Have had a good time at the Hippo, nice dancing and love the set up but have to mark it down through no fault of their own. The last few times we’ve been there, we’ve had some problems walking there through the neighborhood, seems like there are more drug dealers on the corners and they can be a bit hostile if they know you’re heading to the gay bar.
My girlfriend and I came here on a Saturday evening for dinner. The service was very friendly and the food was good as well, especially the speciality Irish Coffees that they prepared. The place has two levels, the downstairs dining area and an upstairs lounge that has pool tables, other games and a bar. Prices were reasonable (beers were $3.50). The downstairs level has the front bar and then a separate room for dining as well as tables in the back.
