Where is the Best Shoe Repair in Atlanta, Georgia?
They do a good job, but so do other neighboring shoe repair shops in Buckhead for a fraction of the cost! They take you for every penny they think you’re worth. You come in with a pair of Choos or Loubus for a minor repair and they try to sell you on a handful of other things you don’t really need just to hike up the bill. For instance, I took my boots in to get some minor sole repair and one of the guys at the counter was like, “You should get a sealer on these boots to keep them from fading, etc etc.” He wanted to charge me an extra $100 to do this. I got a second opinion and as it turns out a sealer isn’t going to significantly extend the life, especially when my boots were clearly a couple years old already. It’s the natural life of the material, duh! Moreover, when I went back to him and explained this to him the guy was almost mad and he was like, “well if you don’t want to do it then don’t do it”.
