Where is the Best Shiatsu Massage in Los Angeles, California?
Overall, my first Thai-style massage at Chaba was awesome. ?It was clean, inexpensive, and semi-relaxing (hello, I know it hurts, but please keep your grunting to a minimum). ?Thank you Citysearch for introducing me to CHABA..I don’t think I’ll be going back to those boujie joints for a massage! now I know why Chaba got voted for best massage.Hands down. ?No contest. ???After my class this morning (yay for Hollywood Aerial Arts!), everything in my upper body needed a little TLC. ? The place was clean and calming, and everyone there was super friendly. ? ?I was escorted to a private room and shown a pair of short to put on. ? Sophia, my masseuse, asked a few questions and then she set to work. ?Having never experienced a Thai-style massage I didn’t know what to expect. ?But after a few minutes my sore shoulders felt like putty and I was silently thanking my fellow for turning me on to yet another amazing find. ? The massage was deep enough to release muscle tension, but not enough
It’s about time I write a review for this place- I first came across MTC a few years ago when 2 famous dermatologists (Dr. Shamban & Dr. Rey) both referred me to see Brigette for facials. I had high expectations after two MD’s separately referred me- and the expectations were met. I see Brigette every 2 weeks for a facial and a glycolic peel, and my fine lines have been visibly disappearing, and my skin is absolutely brighter– no more age spots. I like her honesty and integrity– her advice is spot on, and after trying every “hard core” medical line, and the 400$ bottles of miracle cream, I am genuinely impressed with the products, and will never stray.THE MASSAGE IS INCREDIBLE! I first was booked with Robert, and found the experience both euphoric and invigorating at the same time. He has an amazing calm nature. I was convinced no one could match Robert– but then I booked with another therapist who happened to be available name Robert as well, and it was completely different, and
My brother had some body work done by Myke a couple of weeks ago and he recommended that I too, see Myke. I’m really glad I did. I’ve had a lot of body work done over the years and have had some real wing-dingers for therapists, places where they tell you to “hop up on the table” and then go at your spine with their pointy elbows digging in between the vertebra. Myke is truly a professional care giver-he talks with you about what you’re feeling and what you need or what has been on your mind lately, what aches and pains or issues you might have, and then he custom tailors a message session that takes care of your personal needs and wants. He really listens to what you say, and as he’s working on your body, you can tell that he took into account all that you both had discussed and he makes it a priority to address those areas, gently coaxing your body into a deep state of relaxation, never forcing it. By the end of the session I truly felt balanced and re-energized, but in a totally r
As I was getting ready to write my review, I couldn’t help but notice what other people had said about this salon. It’s true that you can’t please everyone, but it seems that a great majority are quite pleased with their experience. You might ask why it matters what others have said. Well, my experience has been amazing, and I gladly pass along the info of the salon when people ask me where I get my hair done, but I feel reassured that I’m not an exception so if I refer friends and family, I know that they too will have be pleased with the service.I get my hair cut and colored on a regular basis. I have a very demanding career and unfortunately am not blessed with hours and hours that I can spend in a salon so I appreciate the fact that my appointment time is respected. I’ve never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes, and that’s been usually because I’ve arrived a few minutes early. The new location is clean, sleek, and modern. Unlike some places, the product shelves are spotles
