Where is the Best See and Be Seen Bar in Portland, Oregon?
Reservations are a must! We were able to call that day and get reservations for later that night. Parking is confusing if you are not from Portland, but you can validate your ticket at PCG. unless you know someone. i was at slow bar with a friend and we were ignored and then curtly dealt with by the waitress….until the owner came to talk with us because he is friends with my friend. then she treated us like gold. it was unbelievable. since then, the service is always horrible. i guess i should only go there with my cool friend…but they have an amazing burger, so it is worth the needlessly rude servers.
I was going to write a review about Aura, but instead…Honestly? I have been to a lot of bars and clubs downtown and I have had my fare share of problems, usually my own fault cause I’ve been drinking lol. On the other hand, some places have horrible management and customer service. I wasn’t there pdxgrl, but are you seriously trying to place blame for you loosing your own stuff? You are an adult, at a bar, and drinking! Are you sure you weren’t given your number, or what ever you get at the coat check? Or did you just drop it on the dance floor or leave it at your table? Seriously, what did you want management to do for you? Give me a break. Grow up and take responsibility for your own actions. Did you expect the manager to hold your hand and walk you home while they were busy babysitting hundreds of other drunks?Pros + The food here is awesome!Cons – A little pricey for what you get.
