The best things about the Church Nightclub: The venue itself, Though a lesser copy of Limelite in New York, this is stilla great big club with a strong sound sytem and good lighting system. The multi rooms full of different music is a definite plus. I also like that they moved the main dancefloor’s DJ booth from way up high where you couldn’t see anything, to the dancefloor level itself. The Con to that, When I went to see Diplo perform, people nearly tore his laptop down and both his laptop and his phone kept moving around because of the Bass. The booth is better where it is but needs some improvements. One it needs a bar or a glass barrier to keep dumb asses away from the DJ and the equipment and two it needs an edge/lip around the entire shelf on both sides to keep the DJs drinks, phone and anything else they put on it from falling down due to the bass rumble. The main floor DJs are usually major acts brought in from around the world and generally do a good job. Diplo was dope,

They want to charge alot for even a PBR.. maybe that makes the palace classy? The venue has a big room in back to dance around plus booths, then there is the crowded bar/lounge area and a lovely outside deck where they sometimes grill out. I went on a Thursday and they had some kewl live drum and base rappin, plus wonderful techno-dub steppy music in the front lounge.

If you’re really into bars where you have to elbow your way through the crowd to move anywhere and where you are surrounded by people “making the scene” rather than enjoying a good cocktail, Funky Buddha is for you. But count me out. Maybe I’m getting old, or maybe I’m getting more wise. Either way, I don’t understand what the big deal is about this bar. It’s overcrowded, overpriced and overhyped. The only positive thing I have to say about Buddha is that the decore is really quite nice. But how can you enjoy an atmosphere that’s jam packed with loud, trendy singles? Give me a bar with a minimal crowd, a good cocktail and jazz music any day. Hmmm… sounds like Dazzle …..Pros + Stylish decoreCons – Overcrowded, Loud, Scene bar

This is your typical trendy place in Denver where the business model is to attract boring products of society (aka tools) and manipulate them into spending as much money as possible. It’s one of those places where all the tables have a card that reads “reserved” and the bouncers won’t let you sit unless you get bottle service for $200 per bottle with tip. I went there on a Friday and it was full of pretentious 20 somethings who think they are chic. The DJ was horrible and could not match a beat to save his life. Overall, this place is a joke.Additionally, it seems as though EVERY positivie review on Citysearch about this place was likely written by a manager or owner of this place trying to pose as a customer. Just read them for yourself, they sound very fake.Hey fellow Denver people, you don’t really like places like this, right? Can we please unite and boycott these crappy clubs/lounges, such as, but not limitied to Monarck, Mynt, Purple Martini, etc. so they will go out of busi

I had my bachelorett party at the Samba room, and we had a lot of fun. I’ve also been their for after-hours drinks. I like the atmosphere a lot; it feels upscale, but you pay for that ambiance, too. I enjoyed my meal, right up until the bill came!
