Where is the Best See and Be Seen Bar in Dallas, Texas?
I loved it! I am from California and visted this club. It was WestCoast/EastCoast night. So I felt like I was home with all the music. But there was a group there. I dont know who they were on the patio , But i seen the finest man there in Dallas!! He was rapping and taking pictures. Went on a Saturday in Nov. 09 as the staff was very friendly. Loved the house music as so many other upscale venues including even Suite have resorted to predominantly Top 40s tracks. Great decor, lighting, and interior design but there are way too many “reserved” tables that were unoccupied throughout the night. Had to leave early that night for a prior commitment, but will definitely be back on a more crowded Saturday evening. Pros + Great overall atmosphere with solid tracks on Sat nightCons – Too many unoccupied “reserved” tables, heard Fridays were primarily top 40s
My boyfriend and I are both from New York, so of course when the Giants were playing against the Packers in the NFC title championship game, we wanted to watch the game at a great place so he picked Frankie’s Bar and Grill. We figured since it wasnt the Cowboys playing, there wouldnt be a problem getting a table with good TV viewing seats. Well we were wrong. I guess everyone had the same idea or they all had converted to NY Gaints fans. Needlless to say the place was packed. You could barely make it through the door nonetheless get to the bar, I didnt even bother wasting a wish on getting a table to feed my straving stomach. After, 5 mins of scoping the place out, we left. Walked down the block and found Primo’s! My priority at that time was to get some food; his was to be seated before kickoff. Primo’s at that moment offered a solution to both our problems.The place was busy and buslting. Surprisingly, we only waited less then 10 minute for seating and was seated in the patio that
The Sugar Spot is an unbelievable and beautiful bar with with an awesome atmosphere and the most amazing bartenders and staff. the owner’s a great guy as well. i would recommend going to have a drink to relax with friends or go to dance to some ridiculously talented djs as well as good music. bad @ss bar+great service+awesome people== You do the math.. and enjoy youself.!!Pros + great service, awesome people, best bar in dallas
I really have no idea what’s going on, I feel like I am in the twilight zone! Well maybe not that dramatic, but what Obar are all these people talking about??? Bc I am having trouble believing it’s that tiny little underground place on Main I know as Obar! I’m not defending the bar, I find the place a bit too hard to walk through/ get a drink anyway, but was so curious I had to ask! I live downtown and have been to Obar roughly 50 times over the past 3 years since moving to Dallas and I couldn’t be more confused! Waiting in hours-long lines? Lists? Slipping money to bouncers? Did I accidentally link to the Ghostbar reviews somehow? And I don’t even know what is going on with all of the racism stuff… I’ve never noticed anything other than a well mixed crowd. Who are the non-whites not getting in? Asian? Black? Hispanic? Again, I’m just curious at this point… bc the Obar all these people are talking about just…. doesn’t exist? By the way, heard rumors Obar shut down
