Where is the Best Seafood in Salt Lake City, Utah?

It is a private club (Utah oddity), so you have to buy a membership to get in. Not much though. Entrées are priced quite high, but the appetizers and seafood platters are fairly reasonable. The shrimp platter is excellent with many big, juicy, top-quality shrimp. They also have a very good selection of fresh oysters and fish as well. This is pretty much the only place to get consistently good oysters in Salt Lake. They make their soups to order, and while they are nothing stellar, they are pretty good. Their “New Yorker Kick Ass Chili” is worth a try.It is very busy, and quite noisy most evenings. You will have a very hard time getting a table on the weekend. Also the table and booth layout is pretty stupid, and you end up having about 1/3 the table space you really need. Being a private club you can smoke. Great if you’re a smoker I guess, but if you are a non-smoker, prepare yourself for copious amounts of smoke.

When this place first opened it was great. My last visit on Saturday was terrible. The food has gone way downhill. For a seafood/crab restaurant, they sure don’t know how to cook shrimp or crab. Overdone and tough. Sorry, but there are many other places in SLC to get much better seafood for the same or less money.Pros + Fun atmosphere, good for kidsCons – overpriced seafood, food overcooked

Both the wine list and menu at the Paris are quite extensive and we first asked Kristina for recommendations on wine. With her suggestions, we chose our wine and were presented our bottle. We were so happy with Kristina’s wine suggestion, we put it in her hands to choose our first course. After enjoying our Mushroom Tartine, we moved on to our entrees. Kristina suggested the duck breast and the lamb as they would compliment our wine.As we were waiting for our entrees, Kristina was extremely attentive to our table although she was busy with a full section. About twenty minutes had passed and we still were without entrees. When Kristina came b

Expensive but good, my tuna was great. My boyfriends lobster was amazing! However $40 for a lobster tail is a lot. I’ve been to restaurants around the same $$$ and liked them better…I guess I just wasn’t that impressed. Service was good though…my boyfriend liked it… it’s not a place that I would go to again and to me it didn’t live up to it’s reputation. However, I didn’t dislike it..
