Where is the Best Sauna in Seattle, Washington?
You know, my significant other used to work at Habitude, and it just amazed me how badly they treated their employees in terms of fundamentals like reasonable scheduling and fair compensation. Turnover has been incredible lately, and it sounds like there have been a lot of questionable business practices at both locations that are now coming back to haunt the owner. By way of example, have you noticed that many of the recent glowing reviews on this site also happen to promote (1) the owner herself, or (2) retail products sold at the salon? Enough said.
I have been to spas around the world. I have been a customer of Advanced Skin and Body for years now, and will keep returning for several reasons:The customer service is top-notch. So many businesses in today’s market do not include, promote or realize how important customer service is to the retention of customers in a business. The owner is fair – more than fair – to her patrons, the prices are competitive, the professionals that work there are trained and expert in their respective fields, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Most importantly, I get what I pay for…the products work, they last, and I feel beautiful!!!!I work in a profession where it is difficult to make friends; it is a male-dominated field that is tough and can be ruthless. I have developed friendships with a couple of the professionals at Advanced Skin and Body over the years that I treasure (Angela, Ginger, Jennifer…I could go on). After an exceptionally difficult couple of months, I decided to treat myself to a spa day and chose the Spa at Willows Lodge for my destination. I had the good fortune to have Dusty do my anti aging facial – a wonderful treat! Next was a pedicure that I would rate as just average partly due to the location and appointments of the pedicure room. I enjoyed a wonderful lunch followed by an anti-aging body wrap and the most wonderful 90 minute hot stone massage which were perfectly executed by Nancy. I will definitely be back and would recommend this spa to anyone looking for the ultimate in pamperingPros + Excellent staff and great servicesCons – Spa itself is quite small and not too glamorous.
I’ve read previous review and decided to say couple words of my own too. I’ve been a client at Le Reve for only 2 months since I heard Inna on the Positive Choice Talk Radio Station. She was talking about the non-surgical face lift and giving quite deep discounts on the initial session. I’ve seen the micro-current face lift procedure earlier on Oprah and it looked like they were using the same piece of equipment. I thought it was time for me to go too. I liked Le Reve a lot – it’s very cozy, clean and friendly, and all therapists are extremely educated and efficient. After the demo lift the results were so amazing, that I signed up for 12 more sessions. Like my husband said recently I had “happy face”.
