Where is the Best Sauna in New York, New York?
Absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The booking staff was extremely helpful over the phone, answered every one of my questions about their treatments & service staff. The building was very easy to find right off the Saw Mill (they’re not kidding when they say “right off of exit 16” – it’s right there!). The facilities are pristine and beautiful (the coolest lockers I’ve ever seen!), and my massage with Bruce Baltz was quite possibly the best massage I’ve ever gotten – and I’ve gotten quite a few in the past 20 years after a back injury. The only thing that I wouldn’t even take a star off for would be the parking. The building shares its parking lot with a New York Sports Club, so if you’re going on weekends, definitely try to get there a little earlier just so you can find a decent spot. The Reebok Sports Club NY is still one of the best health clubs in the city. I joined recently, and despite some of the negative reviews (which, if you pay close attention, appear to have been written by the same person), I found the place met and even exceeded my expectations.This is the most pleasant place in which I have worked out in quite a while. There are wide open spaces, large windows with views of the city and the staff keeps everything clean and tidy. The equipment is new and in excellent condition, group activities are numerous and varied, and the management has clearly set high standards in selecting only the best personal trainers.The locker rooms are spacious and clean and, more important, there is enough equipment to insure no wait even during peak hours and on the weekend.Pros + Great staff/trainers, Excellent Equipment, Beautiful space/cleanCons – Pricey, Dues keep increasing
