Where is the Best Sauna in Los Angeles, California?
I REALLY enjoyed my experience at this hidden gem of a day spa. I never leave reviews, but I wanted to let everyone know about this place. I came with a friend and we had the best time. What we liked the most was how private it is. I really don’t like the larger crowded spas that pack themselves into strip malls. This spa is located in the quiet little village of Larchmont in Hancock Park. It is a converted private house and was appointed in such a way that we felt at home immediately. It seemed to have everything I would have if I started my own spa, fountains and fish tank alongside a gorgeous fire place, that sort of thing. We had a relaxing dip in the copper tub, spent some time in the sauna and then had an amazing couples massage with the jade stones. I had never had the jade before and it was so delicious. I felt like everyone was very friendly and professional and actually treated us like we mattered and not like numbers. I really do recommend the jade massage. What
I love this place for the therapists. I have light cronic back pain from working on the computer and the only things that help are yoga and a very good deep tissue massage. I have had this type of consistant minor pain for years because of athletics and computer work. Its very comforting to know that this spa exists and I can count on getting a great deep massage every time. I am not an expert but I know when my back feels better. The ambiance is very relaxing and they have a beautiful boutique for gifts. As an added treat, go on a hike in the Malibu State Park that is just around the corner off of Las Virgenes, prior to the massage. It makes a great day outing for yourself or for you and your friend.Pros + Deep Tissue massage titled the Signature bodyworkCons – Need more showers – only had one large shower
Wow I love Agua – it’s tranquil and boutiquey – so no cattle call waiting area, but at the same time you can go on a Saturday and as a spa client go to the pool and Skybar afterwards and party!! They have an awesome locker room to get ready in. The therapists are truly world-class – very unusual and effective techniques that really relaaaax you! I found out that they give you 20% off on weekdays if you’re local so my friends and I are going after work when we can, to get our nails done. Suuuper friendly nice staff too, no snooty receptionists, bonus!Pros + unique, amazing therapists / $4 parking/ SKYBAR!Cons – None?
I went to the spa today and had one of the best facials I’ve gotten in LA. My pedicure was very relaxing and she did a great job. Everyone at the staff is so friendly and helpful and I can not rave enough about this place. Definitely looking forward to going back!!! Pros + Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, & great serviceCons – None
Ok Ive been to a few different places to get Brazililans.I have to say my waxer was pretty fantastic. She was so FAST, i must have been out of there in 7 minutues. Other places have taken much longer sometimes 20, sometimes even 40 min. She made me feel totally relaxed.Only bad thing about this place….the fact that they dump baby powder all over my crotch after its done instead of taking the time to remove leftover wax bits or finishing my entire area with a soothing oil or lotion or anything .but regardless, it was pretty painless and now im silky smooth. oh and did i mention its only $39? um yes. cheapest ive found so farPros + quick, efficient, pretty painlessCons – thoroughness
