Where is the Best Sauna in Houston, Texas?
My first review, I’ve been the Houston area guinea pig for waxing until now. The Waxing Bar came very highly recommended by a few friends and WOW. Pia was very quick and painless. She was very sweet and attentive to my every need. I explained that I have had 5 bad waxes by every “good” place on Citysearch but they all failed miserably. This is my Brazilian waxing place from now on! Pia’s wax really is better than anyones blue or not! Believe me, I’ve tried them all. Her secret oils work! All of the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their services. I love that they don’t try to make you buy crap like shirts and panties and all that fluff, I mean I am there for waxing. If you can get Pia I recommend her and if not I’m sure the other girls are great too, they definitely aren’t lacking in the humor aspect……I mean these people are very funny and a whole lot of fun. I have been receiving massages for many years in many settings and I can’t express strongly enough how much I enjoy and appreciate this wonderful spa! I hovered around it during construction and couldn’t wait to try it once it opened. We were desperately in need of a luxury spa in our area and it greatly exceeded my expectations! I’m so grateful that it is close to my home, but I would drive to the other side of Houston if I had to. Julie has created a wonderful oasis with luxurious amenities, creative services and a wonderful staff. The staff is very attentive without being overbearing and they all make you feel like family. After my first massage, I opted to purchase a year’s worth of monthly massages that includes a wonderful basket of products including their fluffy robe and slippers and also offers a discount on boutique items. I went to Sugar Land for my daughter wedding and we booked a spa package for her. We wanted her to have a relaxing time so we decided to visit the place before her scheduled appointment. I felt in love with their spacious and beautiful couples massage room so I asked if I can join her for the massage part of her package. Her package included facials, massage, manicure and pedicure. The receptionist was very warm and attended to us right away. I was offered a drink menu and I asked for a mimosa. I waited in the lobby, a very comfortable and quiet one, looking through some magazines whilst she was having her facials. I have received few massages but this is definitely the best one. One of the therapist offered to take pictures of us with our camera, very thougthful indeed.
I recently had a girly-afternoon-spa-day, having a facial and massage with my friend who also had a massage plus a few other services. The appearance of the spa is quite nice, and I especially liked the indoor mineral pool and steam room. The best part was the quality of procedures I received. That said, I was disappointed by the time length of the treatments. As previously posted, it seems they cut you short. There are no clocks to be found in the treatment rooms (I wish there were), however I get massages all the time and I can tell the different between 45 mins and 50 mins. My other complaint is that it was my first time to Fiori (which I told the receptionist upon checking in), but they gave me no guidance as to where I needed to go for my massage. I therefore changed and waited in the locker room for my therapist, only to have the receptionist come in after awhile and tell me that I was supposed to be watiing upstairs for my treatment, which meant I was late getting starte
