Where is the Best Sandwich in Nashville, Tennessee?
I actually live in Nashville and just stayed here for the sake of having a romantic night away from home. Therefore, I can say that maybe for a simple solo business trip this might not be the best choice. However, if all you want is a luxurious weekend and have the ability to splurge a little bit then this is an excellent choice! The staff is very accomodating. I made a special request on an online form and received multiple emails from the concierge about it beforehand. The bathtub is a great size and you can watch tv while relaxing which I really enjoyed. They offer a few different pillow selections- including buckwheat which you don’t see very many places. The room was very large and included a small sitting area. There was a problem with the TVs which isn’t a huge deal to me because I have the same problem at home. The hotel has Directv box there is no Directv box in the room with the tv so the channels are strange and do not match the in-room channel guide. For the price
I went on a Sunday with my gf. It was awesome! The line was long, since it was lunch on right after church, but we went through it quickly. I had the Philly and I was blown away by how good it was! The gf got a wrap and it was ok., but the Philly was marvelous! The sandwich filled me up as well. It takes a lot to satisfy my hunger. I couldn’t even think about starting on the parfait I got with it. The price was right too. The Philly was under $7. Add a drink, and your riding around $10 for a great meal. They don’t skimp on the meat either!Pros + Great food, served in a timely mannerCons – Small tables
Ok, Noshville is across from where my sister worked for years, but I never had the chance to eat there. Today, while going into town, I thought I would give it a try. A good friend who keeps kosher is coming to Nashville for Thanksgiving and I thought I would try the place out so I would have a kosher place to bring him, when he visits. So, I parked at the market next door and went in. The hostess was an older lady, who seemed inattentive, unpleasant and not to interested in giving a cheery welcome. While I don’t expect a cheesy, fake welcome, but at least seem happy that you have customers, is my thought. But quickly I was seated and served promptly. They didn’t have sweet tea, which greatly perturbed me given that it is a VERY common beverage in the South, even though they had bar and two types of lemonade. The server, unlike the hostess, was pleasant, attentive and earned his tip. The food was good, but unlike what I had thought before coming there, it was NOT kosher. I am not Jewis
