Where is the Best Sandwich in Milwaukee, Wisconsin?
Everytime I visit Benji’s, the employees are extremely friendly & courteous. I mention this becauase I have been waited on by some “customer service professionals” who seemed irritated that I was in need of assistance. Not only is there service superb in my book, but I love a Reuben made right.Pros + Inxepensive, Delicious, Friendly
I went to Elsa’s with my fiancĂ© for a Valentine’s Day dinner. I was pleasantly surprised how well we were treated, considering that we weren’t buying their really, really expensive drinks. The waitress was really nice and came to check on us often, and she came quickly to bring us a side of ranch. The burgers were literally the best I’ve ever had. He had the cheeseburger, and I had the Greek maiden burger. They were amazing! They were both very tasty and not overly greasy. The drinks were rather expensive. The cheapest drink I remember seeing on the menu was $6.50, and there were glasses of wine and scotch in the $100s! We had a mimosa, which was very good.Overall, this is a really nice place to go for great food and a comfortable atmosphere.Pros + Great foodCons – A bit pricey
While the market may be flooded with johnny come lately sandwich restaurants the Loaf & Jug has been a milwaukee instatution for over 25 years. The food is truly homemade from the daily soup choices to the wonderful pies and desserts (the pies are to die for). Everything about the L&J is outstanding including the well trained and very helpful staff, your questions will be answered politly and promptly and even with a smile, don’t be surprised if they don’t remember your name after your 1st visit. A great restaurant L&J.Pros + outstanding food, friendly staff, quaint & uniqe
I am new to the area and someone suggested that I go to a place called Erv’s Mug, with a name like that I thought it was a dive bar! When I arrived on a Friday night and walked thru the door i was impressed right away. There was a beautiful blonde bartender that greeted me right away and ask me if i was lost, I knew she was kidding, I asked her where I would see the hostess for a table for 4 and she directed me. Again, I was greated with a smile and a very cheerful young lady, (the wait was about 20 minutes) so we sat at the bar for one and drank with a girl who calls herself “Martini”. She had us laughing the whole time. That girl can sure run a bar, It was amazing just to sit there and watch her!!! Are name was called and we went to sit down for dinner. ( The great service never ended) Our waitresses name was Jessica, she had a great attitude and was always on the ball!! The Food was excellent and the spirits were high. Erv’s has different specials everynight!! Thursdays so
