I saw the reviews for this restaurant here on Citysearch and figured it was worth the trip to Saudi-Aurora to give it a try. Wow! what a find! The restaurant has been there for many years – but if it weren?t for Citysearch we would have never found it. We made reservations through OpenTable – but probably didn’t need to. We were there on a busy Friday night and were seated promptly. The digs are very warm and comfortable. Exposed brick, nice lighting, and comfortable tables. The service was very attentive and friendly. Our server made helpful suggestions and explained details of some of the dishes. The menu is wonderful. It’s all over the board with flavors – which are good for pleasing all kinds of tastes. My husband had the buffalo pot-roast. It came in a wonderful presentation and the minute he touched the top with his fork, it was so tender it flaked apart on its own. The flavor was amazing. I had the mac and cheese with lobster. Comfort food all grown up! It had a nice combination

There are several good sandwich shops in and around Denver, but they just don’t stack up to Pat’s. Fresh Fast, and OHHHHHHH Yummy. And the Market Street Location has class and great food with a full bar…… Simply the best Cheese Steak to be had in Denver, and the large is great value meal for two. They also reheat great make a wonderful lunch for the next day.

I’m a New York native and let me tell you- There’s nothing Brooklyn, Manhattan, heck even upstate New York about this place. Any menu that includes avacado CANNOT be considered Brooklyn or even East coast. Heidi’s is exactly like every other deli or sandwich place out here. Atlanta Bread and Panera anyone? Might as well just go there! The food is fine, I do enjoy it, but there’s nothing stand out about the place. In a place where you have A LOT of transplants, if you’re going to have a name like Heidi’s Brooklyn Deli, than I believe you might want to do it justice. It’s almost enough to never go back there. It’s an insult really. That being said, the food is fine, the atmosphere is good for grabbing a quick bite to eat and the staff is adequate. There’s nothing special about it though, so I don’t recommend going in expecting anything. It’s in the same line of McDonald’s and Burger King. You can eat there, probably even enjoy it, but really? It’s no big deal. You can go anywhere and
