Had brunch here. Food was good. The mini muffins were good, but for me they are not a d raw , did not find anything about them special. Was with a group and we were seated about 15 to 20 minutes after the reservation time. Took a long time to place order and a very long time to get the bill, we ended up having to ask for it. Service was fine. Again it was a group, and I don’t recall anyone being asked how the food was, or if we needed anything. They did bring a second basket of muffins. The decor was nice, attractive, but the noise level was too much for me. Too hard to hear people and just too much of a din to be relaxing. Probably fine to go there during a less popular time than weekend brunch. All in all it was a perfectly fine meal, the food was tasty and my polenta was perfect. Would probably go back if in the neighborhood, but will not make a special trip to eat here. Expect brunch mains to run $10 to $15 w/o drinks.

Its mission says it all, At Sellers Markets We Are Committed To Using Local Artisans Who Practice Sustainable Agriculture. Why? Because Its The Right Thing To Do And It Tastes Better. The food at this downtown, fast-casual, made-to-order utopia is simply delicious. The creations are brilliant and the variety of mount-watering choices is perfectly suited to meet your breakfast/lunchtime cravings. The salads, the sandwiches, the soups and the treats will not disappoint even the pickiest eater. It has a unique organic and artisan flair without sacrificing the flavor, so you will leave feeling healthy and full (not to mention the fact that you can give yourself a little pat on the back for helping to support local artisans who practice sustainable agriculture and humanely raised live-stock. This is fast, feel good food (about yourself and the environment) at its absolute finest.

3 visits: 1st delicious but high price, nowhere to sit & longest line in downtown SF; 2nd time: smaller salad & still nowhere to sit; 3rd time: lettuce partially frozen (not good esp. in consideration of price $12) & inside was nearly as cold since the doors were propped wide open despite the 45-degree weather, staff unaccomodating when approached about the temperature. Rating is sinking…..Pros + organic & earth friendlyCons – high price, very limited seating

My favorite Turkish restaurant… It’s run by a Jordanian. The staff are wonderful. The recently redone largely-blue interior looks great. A lot of people who aren’t very familiar with Turkish food try the chicken sautee. They have the usual list of kababs, and the appetizer platter is a good way to sample Turkish food (highly recommended). Their rice is fibrous and done superbly. Some menu items that are hard to find elsewhere: mercimek kofte, a lentil mash; a spinach salad with falafels stuffed with goat cheese; kuneifi (a cheesy dessert wrapped in roasted/shredded phyllo, with just the right amount of sweetness); grilled vegetables served in a tomato sauce; a rich haydari or yoghurt dish can help douse, although Bursa’s food isn’t too spicy at all. Recent changes in their menu have meant that vegetable kababs/skewers are out 🙁 Good wine list and a longish dessert menu too. Lately, they have started doing lunch too. It’s amazing how the weekend belly dance can be performed in the s

Three-four mornings a week I get an omelette from Pasta Paradiso; I always choose the same ingredients: spinach, mushroom and sausage. They make their own sausage, and I wish they sold it, it is spiced perfectly. They make omelettes the European way, flipped in the pan, not folded, and they are delicious. I can also recommend the pastas and salads, but stop in for an omelette some morning, it’ll get your day off to a great start.Pros + variety, consistency, value
