Where is the Best Salad in San Diego, California?
My favorite salad place when in San Diego! You will find the best, healthiest salad spot in town at Salad Style. Salads are huge with fresh salad greens; top grade meats cooked perfectly, and make great dinners as well as lunches. Pick one or two up to take home for dinner. Their website of same name shows their salads (not sure why there isn’t a link to their site here.) Call ahead of you are in a hurry or having guests for lunch or dinner. I (vegan) visited the Chula Vista location for lunch with a few friends and our kids (all adventurous open mimded omnivores). Everyone was really nice but not extra friendly. The staff seemed disorganized scattered and spacey. The food took for ever ( We were there 2 hours). They forgot to tell us they were out of vanilla ice cream so it took twice as long to get a scoop of ice cream. It didn’t say on the menu that my daughters soup was spicy. My chile relleno had a big red hair in it and the prices were much too high for such small portions. Do not order the sampler platter the mini pizzas are very mini. Other than that the food IS VERY DELICIOUS and the presentation was VERY BEAUTIFUL. I recomend calling your order in ahead of time. If you have a lot of time money and an open mind about raw food then this is the place for you.
