I went for dinner there with a friend sometime in Dec. It was a cold, wet night, and when we walked in the place was busy but cozy. We had a reservation so we got seated promptly. Our waiter was very friendly & had great suggestions; he was a sweetheart & very attentive. Had fries & the tuna tartare (interesting & pretty tasty) for appetizers & they give this complimentary crispy puffed fried thing that tastes exactly like a type of indian papad–yum! I got the mac & jack as an entree which was great, my friend had the meatloaf which was good (and the mashed potatoes that came with were excellent!). Definitely enjoyed the comfort food, and the bill was less than I expected. Had no room for drinks or dessert but I would go back to try the other interesting items on the menu. In fact i just went there today for brunch with friends, it was very crowded but apparently we were the right size group and got seated right away. I had the stuffed french toast, which was delicious, and all my fri

Appetizers: the tilapia was excellent and so was the falafel. i’m not usually a fish eater but the fish was fantastic. i recommend bothSalad: ordered a chicken caesar salad for the large portion… wasnt all that worth the money for 14 dollarsEntrees: i ordered the mocca quesadilla and it was pretty good for 11 dollars. the thing looked like a giant burrito though but all in all it was pretty goodComments: the service was excellent but the lighting in the area is very very dim. i’d bring my girlfriend here for anyone who’s looking to have a nice datePros + excellent serviceCons – dim lighting

Went there this morning expecting something spectacular based on all the hoopla. Forget it. Decent pankake, but not extraordinary. Eggs same as what id make at home or you could find at a deli. But the Peach Smoothie was by far the worst smoothie i have ever tasted in my entire life anywhere. It was pasty, flavorless, chalky and unfinishable. Operations are not smooth. If you order and want to sit down, it seems like too tall of an order for them to handle as they are highly disorganized with respect to waitress/host/cashier handling your order. At least they were this morning. Being that it wasn’t busy, its hard for me to give them a pass on that, but the food quality isn’t all that astounding at all. Pros + wireless internet accessCons – smoothies awful, everyhting else nothing to write home about.

I love it because I can go at any time of the day and pick up a salad or sandwich or any variety of other prepared foods as well as usual grocery items which are comparable or lower to other manhattan grocers. I can also pick up fresh baked breads, bakery items, fresh meats and seafoods and a wonderful selection of produce which are items that I ultimately avoid at regular grocers because of lack of selection and poor quality. I hate Whole Foods because when I get prepared foods, bakery items or even a box of granola bars, everything I got faintly tasted like egg rolls. I’ll continue to shop there for my other items and sadly, wait in line like the rest of you who will go along with me and stand in line for 15 years but I must know: Why does it taste like egg rolls?Pros + Cornucopia of choices, Decent PricesCons – Super Long Lines, Egg Roll Food Taste, Bad Layout/Crowded
