Where is the Best Salad in Las Vegas, Nevada?
We visited this place on vacation in Vegas. I guess I didn’t realize that is was only a buffet and that you couldn’t order from a menu as I had expected. I didn’t really see too many vegan options but made due with what was there. The one vegan soup was really good though—sorry I don’t remember what it was…something with beans in it. I also tried a rice salad that was quite good. I ordered a strawberry smoothie that was a disappointment—way too sweet—I couldn’t even drink it. I’ve been spoiled by Jamba Juice I guess. I’m not sure I would go back unless I really wanted some vegan soup.
..especially to the location near Rainbow and Lake Mead. I had really liked this place because it was interesting and different than getting regular fast food. However.. the lettuce/salad bar was disgusting. Things were dried and stuff to everything. Food we laying tossed about everything, and to top it all off, there was a dead insect in the iceberg lettuce. And that’s when I put my tray down and walked out the door.
I decided to surprise my wife with a romantic getaway and decided to try the Tropicana for the first time. I went to there website after looking at many of the on-line travel companies and found a much better deal booking directly with the hotel. When we arrived we were quickly greeted by a very nice valet person. After waiting only a few minutes to get checked in, we were greeted by Alvin. I must say, Alvin could not have been any friendlier or more helpful. He booked dinner at their Italian Restaurant and recommend their show Folies Bergere. Both were perfect for our romantic getaway. What Alvin did that really made my trip special was he offered us an upgraded to a Jacuzzi Suite for a small fee, which we took. My wife loved it!! We did gamble some and came out a head for a change, The staff in the casino was very friendly and helpful, especially after when we lost our player card. Coffee Pub is one of my favorite restuarant in Vegas. They have such nice patio and tasty food. After changing management, Coffee Pub has confliction but food is still good and waitress are friendly. Every time I go there, I eat Chicken Quesadilla. I LOVE IT!! on spanich tortilla, grill chicken, grilled onion and pepper with cheddar cheese~ I never eat before like Coffee Pub’s Chicken Quesadilla. And also sandwiches are good… my favorite is Redondo…. I think it is #1.. Im not sure. but it is so good~ crisp bacon, turkey breast with melted swiss cheese on sourdough.. It is good.. and drinks are good too! smoothies and coffee… I could see good stuff from new management! It is still the Coffee Pub I used to love!Pros + Patio and tasty food and drinks
How can you possibly go wrong at Olive Garden? I mean most restaurants don’t give you anything to munch on while you’re perusing the menu. Here you get soup or salad AND breadsticks, and every dish is cheap as hell. I don’t think they have one thing over $20 and most dishes are around $10.Plus apparently they send some chefs to Tuscany to learn cooking. Great idea, if only they flew back :)The Olive Garden on Charleston by Red Rock has the all brick motif on the outside and very nice on the inside. I was almost afraid to dirty the street out front by driving on it. That’s how clean it is folks.5 stars.PROS: Salad & breadsticks. Cheap menu items. Hot waitresses.
