Where is the Best Salad in Dallas, Texas?
This is a favorite spot of mine as a former Uptown dweller. Great spot for watching the game while scarfing down fantastic pizza. The waitstaff is always accomodating and the outdoor patio scene is fantastic for great people watching. I gaurantee you will see someone walk by that is worth checking out. Pros + Location, Price, Service, Outdoor SeatingCons – Crowded
Okay, you’re in for a wait, but if you’re in Frisco, sign up for a table, then go shopping inside the mall where this restaurant is located, Barnes and Noble right across the hall will keep you captivated – all two floors of it! They give you a pager, so you won’t lose your place in line. There is always a crowd. Menu is quite extensive and be prepared to share an entree’, for the average person couldn’t possibly eat it all and save room for – cheescake! I had the cappaccino, but let everyone get a different flavor and share a bite. Lemon delicious, as well. Decor is classy and very upscale

Maguire’s is an absolutely fabulous find! I’ve visited numerous times now, and everything that I’ve tried has been wonderful. From the delicious Maguire’s Salad to scrumptious Lava Cake (hot fudge oozing from a freshly baked cake) and everything in-between, all that I’ve tried promises to become my new favorite. Specials to try: the Tuscan Chicken Sandwich (order it as an appetizer and share), the Pork Chop (between the champagne mustard gravy and the garlic mashed potatoes, I went to heaven, and the Iced Tea!!!! It’s champagne-apricot and it’s sooooo good. It’s a great place whether you’re dressed up in a suit or dressed casually. The folks at the restaurant are exceptionally nice and welcoming to everyone. Try this one soon!
This posh mod decorated establishment is a Dallas legend. From the famous popover with strawberry butter to the chicken broth to the lunch specials which are impeccably made and usually around $20, I love the Zodiac. It makes me feel like I’ve been transported into a world of Emilio Pucci and the British Invasion. Great for a long lunch downtown.Pros + Mod atmosphere, great food, reasonably pricedCons – Not great when you’re in a hurry
