Where is the Best Salad in Dallas, Texas?
Who wants a break from the everyday grind of Dallas? Walk into Pulcinellas and you will immediately feel refreshed – the aroma from the wood-fired oven is as evident as the smiles on the staff’s faces. I gave it a shot the other night with the girlfriend (which proved to be challenge as all I could think about were the 3 groups of SMU girls sitting around me) and I was blown away. Hyperbole aside, the pizza is the best in town! You can go anywhere to get that predictable ordinary American pie, but with Pulcinellas, you get a refreshing Italian taste that is unmatched. I recommend consuming a couple glasses of chianti (the staff handpicked the wine) and ending with a to-die-for chocolate desert. Go see what everyone is talking about!Pros + vibrant atmosphere, phenomenal pizzaCons – limited seating
Founder’s in walking distance from my job in Downtown Dallas. I’ve been there 3 times for lunch and each time I have had a bad experience. I only retuned because it is the closest place to walk and because the food was decent. I went today for the last time with 2 co-workers and the place was packed for lunch as usual. We were seated and quickly selected our menu iteam so we could eat and run. We gave the 1 out of 3 waiter our order and 50 minutes later it came out. Mind you we only ordered 2 quesadillas and a philly cheese steak. The quesadillas are appitizers. Worst of all the owner, sat at a table with friends eating a hamburger while customers sat and waited for drinks and food. He was sitting right next to us as we waited 50 minutes for our food. Unbelievable! That was my very last time going to Founder’s Grill.Pros + Great Atmosphere, Good FoodCons – Horrible Service, Food takes forever to come out
