The main reason I give RJ Grunts such a high rating is because they have kick ass milkshakes. I had a chai tea milkshake which was so incredibly yummy. To eat I had the California Wrap which is served warm and could use a bit more sauce. I also got a side order of ma & cheese which was pretty good. Just dont let it get cold. I tried some chili as well with everything on it which includes onions cheese and cilantro among other things. Considering I hate beans this chili was actually really good.Ambiance was very retro which I didnt mind at all. It was genuine not contrived. They just havent changed anything since like 1971. From the green mirrors on the back wall to the music playing Donna Summers and the illustrations on the menu these folks took their prime era seriously.Things to note This place is known for its milkshakes. Get one. Its also a very crowded cozy place; not good for business meetings or folks that are claustrophobic. Most importantly all sandwiches comes with the house

Dunlay’s has become one of our “go-to” places when we want a nice, casual dinner. The burgers here are absolutely the best, the individual pizzas are yummy, and the caesar salad is a wonderful treat for a light dinner on a hot humid night. The waitstaff are very friendly and attentive. Don’t forget to try D.O.C. wine bar next door, which is another Dunlay’s enterprise…the best part is after sampling a wine flight or two, and sharing a cheese plate, you can order your dinner from the Dunlay’s restaurant.Pros + Convenient location for drinks and a casual mealCons – None

I thought that this would just be another over-priced hotel restaurant, but the service and food quality make this restaurant well worth the visit. My meal was so good i even decided to have dessert, (which i never do). I was very pleased with my experience here. Pros + food, friendly service in a timely mannerCons – slightly pricey

This restaurant is one of my favorites! Yes, we always have to wait about 15-30 minutes for a table, but it’s always worth it; and, doesn’t consistently waiting for a reasonable amount of time prove that the place it popular/well liked by patrons and efficiently run by its staff? The food is unique and always delicious-I LOVE the bread!! And as for some people saying that this place is too crowed and cramped, lighten up. This place gains its great atmosphere and character from the great historic building in which it resides. 🙂 People enjoying their evening surrounded by great food in a great place is hard to beat!!!Pros + Great food (never fail), great value, great atmosphere.Cons – Expect to wait a little! 🙂
