Where is the Best Romantic Hotel in Portland, Oregon?

We were visiting family and attending a event in the area for Veterans Day. This Econolodge Southeast/Portland on McLoughlin was great. We are sure to return to this hotel the next time we are in the area…….we loved the clean rooms and the heated pool/spa!……..The hotel is only 7 miles from Downtown Portland and is a great value!Pros + Location and ValueCons – nothing really ……….just a little language barrier at the front desk……….the rooms/price make up for it!
I started to get into paranormal activity after watching numerous episodes and the movie which became the number one movie for a low budget film movie. I started to research on haunted hotels and came across the top ten haunted hotels and Heathman Hotel was one of them. I went to the website and the rooms looked really nice. So I went ahead and booked a deluxe room and had requested for a room ending in “03” specifically because the history says those rooms have some sort of paranormal activity. When my friend and I arrived at the hotel, it did look modern. When I entered the room it was on a corner which it was described. It looked clean, and the ambience was soothing. A bit small but it was doable since I was only staying for one night. I also booked an in room massage. That was a major bonus for me since I treated myself at the same time for my birthday. Just returned from a wonderful two-day stay at the Modera. Can’t recommend this great hotel enough. Our room was perfect right down to the details, spacious, great bed, aesthetics, amenities.
