Although the food was decent, if a bit overpriced, the service was the best I’ve ever had — which says a lot considering this is a chain. I was thoroughly impressed with our waiter and would come again — just for him.Pros + Good Food, Excellent waitstaffCons – Pricey

Cafe Poca Cosa has the most unbelievably awesome food. I always get the chef’s choice Plato Poca Cosa trio and they’re okay with me begging off seafood. The chicken mole was the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had it in an excellent restaurant in San Luis Potosi) and I still can’t get over the sweet carrot and onion tamale nor the grilled beef with a jalape?o chile and tomatillo sauce. For visitors to Tucson, this should absolutely be your number one food priority. Just be prepared for the snotty servers.

This restaurant is great for people celebrating an anniversary or birthday in a very intimate setting. They offer a four course meal with a twist. You get to skewer and cook the meat of your choice. They come in one ounce cubes so its quicker and tastier than you might think. They have endless options of sauces and cheeses and desserts but be careful, its a lilttle on the pricey side.Pros + Very intimate and romantic.Cons – It takes about 2 hours from start to finish.

We had heard good things about the Bamboo Club in Tucson and finally gave it a try. I called and made a reservation. We took advantage of the free valet service. Inside, we were promptly seated. The atmosphere reminded us of something out of Casablanca, lots of black, green, pillows and candles. Our waiter was attentive and helpful in explaining the menu, which is quite varied. We had lettuce wraps as our appetizer. I honestly don’t know how they get the lettuce to be that crispy. I think I can safely say that all agreed the food was great, and there was plenty of it. The favorite in our group was the Mandarin Chicken with crispy spinach leaves. The flambeed berries were a perfect finish to our dinner. We all agreed it was worth coming back!!Pros + Ambience, Variety, Service
