Where is the Best Romantic Dining in Providence, Rhode Island?

My Fiance and I went to Newport for the weekend. We found this restaurant online. We were seated right away. Although we sat next to the wait station the atmosphere was very nice. Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable. The bathrooms however were oddly located in the coat room. Which I find very disappointing for a restaurant of this caliber. Our entrees were very good as were our appetizers. Our dessert and dessert wine was equality as delicious. Our bill was on the high side but we expected that going into it. Overall it was a good experience and we would return again.Pros + Very good meal all and allCons – Coat Room/Bathroom

I had dinner there tonight with two friends. We first went to the antipasto buffet. The ‘hot’ items such as calamari, paella, and a Brizilian stew, were all lukewarm. After the buffet, we were ready for the grilled foods. The waitress said the “gauchos” would be bringing 16 different items, including meats, sausages, pineapple and garlic bread. We were there an hour and a half and counted only 9 items. The garlic bread never appeared. The table next to ours got turkey, which never made it to our table. Each portion is very small. This would be OK if the food kept coming, but though the restaurant wasn’t very busy, the wait between gaucho visits ranged from 5-10 minutes. So we would eat our small bite of meat then sit and wait several minutes for the next one. We finally got tired of this one bite at a time way of eating and went up to the buffet again. I will admit that all the food tasted good, and the staff was very polite and friendly, but we won’t be returning.
