Jim’s Place was a great surprise! Had read about it and finally had the chance to dine there! Greek salad was wonderful and my steak was perfect. There were 30 in our party and no big problems in getting the food out correctly and promptly! Menu was diverse so that everyone found something! Didn’t try any of the appetizers, but, boy, did they sound good!

I sampled one of their soups and it was delicious!!!! “for the life of me I can’t remember the name of it”. I’m looking forward to this years event hope to see you there and perhapes you’ll have that delicious soup you were serving

So I know Im not cooking, but where do we want to go? 9/10 times we end up at J. Alexanders. The atmosphere is perfect – dark wood, dim lighting. The food is very good. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 only out of respect for places like Erling Jensens. Still, the food is yummy. The prime rib, crab cakes, fish sandwiches and even cheeseburgers are delicious! If you can catch them on a day that they have their smoked salmon dip for an appetizer, get it! The bartender makes a perfect Cosmo and the mac & cheese is so good.

This is the only Bonefish Grill I have been to, so I cannot compare it to others. I can only say that it is truly a good neighborhood restaurant to go to with family and/or friends for a fun night out that won’t cost you an arm and a fin! Neither the food nor the service are the best you will ever have, but, we aren’t talking Michelin here, just a good place to have a good meal with good friends. And that’s okay. The only problem I had was with a certain loud, obnoxious bunch of yahoos that disrupted my meal. Fortunately, I was one of those loud, obnoxious yahoos, so I tolerated it. I would highly recommend the place to all but the effete snobs who ought to be someplace else paying twice as much for what they so ardently, if cheaply, desire!
