Where is the Best Romantic Bar in Minneapolis, Minnesota?

My wife and I love W.A Frost. It is always our first choice for date night. We especially love it at the bar – always great service and the bar menu is great food to share in a more relaxed setting. Our current favorite is the BLT with fries – it is so good. We highly recommend the bar for a great dinner or a relaxing drink. Can a brag about the patio in March? The patio is the best in the twin cities.Pros + great service & great ambianceCons – it is a popular place, Valet parking is great on the weekend

My husband and I went to the Inn for dinner on Fri. night, the day after Valentine’s Day. I thought it was very beautiful, romantic, and cozy. My husband thought the steak he had was a little grisly, but my tenderloin was perfect. Also, the wedge salad was delicious. Overall, we had a great time. Can’t wait to go back and stay overnight next time!

Looking for good food at a decent price in a relaxed atmosphere, Eli’s is the place to go to (or one of them.) I read the reviews on citysearch and do not agree with the negative ones IN THE SLIGHTEST. While the ambiance is typical of an older, dark bar, the food is quite fantastic actually. Weekly specials on the wall all tend to be excellent. The hot dogs are always a good choice, the lobster chowder is wonderful, the turkey and asparagus sandwhich healthy and tasty, and the ravioli (squash, walnuts, gorgonzola) is an endulgement worth the calories. The service is just fine here. My experience have been positive. They get you what you want in a timely fashion. If you’re looking for white table linens, beverages in crystal, servers with serving assistants, this is not the place for you.Pros + food, price, not crowdedCons – dark, parking

I’ve never had full on dinner at View, but it’s the perfect happy hour spot! Also great for business meetings. They have great specials on appetizers and drinks, which can easily become a meal. I also love that their offer half sized salads. The spinach and fruit salad is AMAZING! Not overly fruity and the perfect vinaigrette to top it off. That with a glass of wine for under $10?! Excellent weeknight dining spot!Ambience is great and parking is surprisingly easy as well.Pros + great HH specials, upscale ambience, prompt weeknight seating

I’ve eaten in the bistro numerous times and had the tasting menu the past two months. The food in the bistro is fantastic (the best in the city!), but you truly realize the chef’s genius (and why he’s received such national accolade) when you have the tasting menu. My favorite from each time: last month there was a lobster salad topped with a chipotle pineapple sorbet and then a lobster bisque that’s finished with a bitter cocoa powder was poured around the lobster. This month there’s a rich duck confit wrapped in a banana leaf, served on red quinoa with a rhubarb chutney and a curry sauce. I could go on and on and on with superlatives but I can only use 150 words! And I didn’t even get to talk about the bistro! You have to eat here, both the bistro and the fine dining room, now!
