Where is the Best Romantic Bar in Cincinnati, Ohio?
The Cincinnatian offered spacious and well-appointed rooms in a central business location. The lobby is classic, as is the off-lobby bar. Room services (laundry, shoe shine) were business-hotel caliber. In-room internet was wired and speedy, but not free. Didn’t dine in the hotel restaurant. Rick Blaine would be proud. With breathtaking Art-Deco surroundings, a great jazz trio on weekends, and very reasonable drink prices, the Palm Court is the only place in town that doesn’t mistake true elegance and refinement for pretentiousness. Hands down my favorite place to relax and talk with friends.
Moved from NYC to Cinti 2 yrs ago. I had 30+ Italian restaurants in my neighborhood in NY, but found nothing here that comes close to a high quality, affordable, truly Italian meal, until I found Brios. Granted, its large and noisy, not a small trattoria as I had hoped. But, the food is excellent and the prices, though not cheap, are reasonable.Pros + Food
We ordered a suit to be custom made and the pants needed some revision. They refused to make it right and told us that they would not do anything more to fix the problem. When asked if we could speak to the manager, the salesman told us flatly “no”. The salesman asked if we thought we knew more about this than he did and how would we know if the pants looked right or not. The salesman raised his hand in our face and said that he was done working on the suit. None of the other employees we spoke to (including an owner) seemed concerned with this behavior. In fact, they all copied the salesman’s behavior. We told them that we were shocked by this treatment and had never been treated this way by any store in our lives. We were planning on ordering a second suit in a few months but the store does not care to build or maintain relationships. We got our money refunded, which they didn’t want to do initially, but we can’t get a refund on all the time we spent. Cons – Extremely rud
