The previous review is a little dated. The Sunset Club is no longer a private club. Members and nonmembers 21 and up are allowed in Tuesday – Saturday, however it is still one of the only upscale clubs/lounges left in Charlotte. They have amazing specialty martinis like the Marilyn Monroe or the Sonny & great drink specials. The VIP sections are very luxurious, they have a great hookah menu and specials during the week. Music during the week is more of a jazzy, lounge, house feel but the weekends are definitely the place to be for top 40! They still have awesome theme parties the last Saturday of every month. Another great thing about Sunset is the parking! 1. the lightrail stops right behind it and 2. the parking lot is right next to the club so no additional walking in your 3″ Marc Jacobs! and ITS FREE!
