Where is the Best Romantic Bar in Charlotte, North Carolina?
The reason for my comments is because I am one of those coupon guys and I am glad that The Grape is putting those promotional gift certificates out there so I can visit more often. Guess what I am cheap and I will admit it. But to think I could come in and pay for my whole table of guests with promotional coupons I paid ? face value for is just plan tacky. That?s not point of promotional coupons, But then again I guess I was raised different. I just hope that a few don?t ruin it for the many and I hope that The Grape continues with those types of programs. Finally to end on a positive note I am glad to see that The Grape @ Northlake was nominated for so many different categories. It is truly great place to entertain and just simply relax. I read about Blue Restaurant and Bar in another Charlotte-based publication and decided to plan my best friend’s bachelorette dinner here. I called and arranged a time to come in and scope out the restaurant as well as try out some of the items on the menu. I was very impressed by the appetizers – which range from delicious scallops to equally yummy flavors of the Mediterranean. My husband and I also tried a few martinis and desserts on three different occasions. We were pleased with the selection and decided to book a reservation for our upcoming dinner party. Roughly a month prior to the event, I discussed the party details with two different staff members and was assured we would be allowed to sit in the Solarium room (their patio area). About two weeks before the event I called to confirm our reservation and was then told that another group (larger party) had also booked the same room that night, and that we (smaller party) would need to move to another area within the restaurant
My husband and I moved to the Charlotte area approximately one year ago. Although we actually live in South Carolina, we regularly come up to Charlotte for dining and social interaction. Fortunately for us, one of our forays was to Vintage Wine Cellar. That was about six months ago, and we have been devout customers ever since.The tastings are great (including the phenomenal monthly ?Mega tastings?), the monthly Wine Dinners are nothing short of superb (the Chef’s creativity and presentation is as good as ANY restaurant in Charlotte), and the entertainment (Judson and company) is a breath of fresh air, and a wonderful respite on the weekends. This is probably the best Sushi bar in this town, I was searching for the best Sushi restaurant and found it here at Dean & Deluca’s Wine Room, considering it is not a full service Sushi restaurant it is has the best sushi Rolls ever, please try The famous D&D roll it’s mouthwatering!!! I always come back for more. The quality and presentation is first class. Ask for Chef CY to recommend only the best!!!
