Where is the Best Relaxation Massage in Minneapolis, Minnesota?
I’m new to the area and thought I would give it a try when I was given a coupon at my new apt. I was weary off the bat when I saw the over-bleached, orange tanned young girls at the front desk. I waited 30 min after my appt time and was told it was a miscommunication(overheard another client being told the same thing). They offered me water in a crappy wine glass(it was ridiculous and seemed pretentious, who wants to carry a wine glass around?! Give me a water bottle that I can hold and put a cap on when I move from chair to dryer, etc and won’t get hair flying in it!)As far as the style, I knew what I wanted and brought photos of the color and the stylist proceeded to chatter on and on about why my part was wrong and how she would do a “soft and feminine” cut(which she repeated about a dozen times) and not being too edgy or angeled(maybe I like trendy and angled!) without listening or asking what I wanted. My friends and I participated in our 6th Breast Cancer 3 Day in September. We scheduled with this spa on very short notice for our team to get massages and pedis the day after the event. Marlys and Vanessa were very accommodating in making sure we had all the services that we would need, even having pedicures available for us on a day when they normally aren’t. Before we even visited, their attention and customer service had won me over.It was a great surprise than that this was one of the best massages I’ve received. Aubrey and Marlys both gave our ladies great massages and excellent customer service. Shawn gave 2 of us relaxing, soothing pedicures. Our team will be back next year and before that, we will go back as individuals. When I lived with my parents I had a fantastic stylist and colorist at a salon in my home town. When I left for college, I began with what would become a continuous search for a stylist who would make me feel/look great. I tried the salon near campus, which had cheap student cuts and was a quick walk and was never terribly impressed. Then I got a gift card to Juut . I had never been, so when I called to make an appointment for a cut and foil, I was not caught off guard by them giving me only one appointment time and one name. Halfway through my color, the colorist asked who was cutting my hair and I said that I didn’t know. When he checked we learned that no cut had been scheduled. Thankfully they were able to find someone to blowdry my hair. So, I scheduled an for a cut appointment with that stylist. The color I got was fine, not inspiring or amazing.
