Where is the Best Relaxation Massage in Los Angeles, California?
I booked an apppointment for SPA week. I am new to the area and find my new spa. I travel alot and love spas, so I know what is average, good and amazing. This place is amazing! I got there early so I could use their facilities. I walked into the spa and the aroma was very relaxing, but yet pleasurable. The staff was very attentive, warm and genuine. They brought me this nice vanilla tea, and I loved the touch of the hot towels. I got to relax by the pool and get some sun before my treatment. They let me know that I could wait in their tranquility garden area before my service. Wow! I loved relaxing on the hammocks on the grassy area. What a treat! When it was time, my massage therapist took me into the villa. I got to relax in their aromatherapy bath for 15 minutes. Boy was that heaven! The jets and the light made me feel so light and relaxed. The therapist then came in and gave me a reflexology treatment. I have never received one before. Wow. My whole body felt so
I visited Relax Spa the day before my wedding. I had booked a facial and a massage. Needless to say, I was a little tightly-wound! From the moment I stepped in through the front door, I felt calmer, and relaxed. The atmosphere is amazing. It is a small area, but everything has been put on display with the utmost care. I was offered cool water with lemon and cucumber, and relaxed on the comfortable couch while I filled out my forms and waited for my appointment. The decor is tasteful and they do not try to cram as much as they can into the space, rather, just the essentials are displayed. The facial I received was wonderful – Traci took time and care not to upset my skin, but rather cleanse it and rejuvenate it, leaving it hydrated and amazing-looking for my photos. The treatment room was quiet and peaceful. I then had my Swedish/Deep Tissue massage. My masseuse was really well-trained and perceptive – she worked with me to get to the knots and tension, instead of trying to f
Front desk staff were super friendly, caring and full of smiles. If I have to be picky, two of them broke into a personal conversation while standing at the front desk upon check-in, which isn’t appropriate. The layout is confusing and I didn’t care for the fact that the therapist does not pick you up from the locker room waiting area. You’re left to wander down a long hallway and then up a flight of stairs on your own while people who are clothed pass by you. The hot tubs did not work, and when I addressed this to an attendant, (after flagging her down) she didn’t speak a word of English and just shrugged her shoulders. I asked her to get a manager, and she got her colleague who told me that the person on the earlier shift did not fill up the water appropriately which is why there were no bubbles. (It was also barely hot)…I proceeded to the sauna to find that the clock was three hours behind. I set the alarm on my cell phone. I never seemed to find an attendant to ask for h
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Faces! Everyone that works here is so kind, warm and friendly. I have been going to Shula for the last 3 years and my skin has NEVER looked better! Her eyebrow shaping is perfection and her facials are luxurious. I am getting married this October and Shula has created a year long “schedule” for me to make certain my skin (face and chest) is everything I dream of for the big day. The skin treatments and products she’s recommended have erased the fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes and laugh lines, and I keep getting accused of being 4-5 years younger than I am!
