I got word of this place by the Groupon of the day. I had my best friend in town from FL, so we wanted to pamper ourselves. I called about 2 weeks in advance for a Jan. 2nd appointment. I had no problems and the person was very pleasant at the Lamar location. She mentioned we would receive a call to confirm our appointments. I didn’t get one and figured due to New Year’s Day, it might have been missed. I called before our scheduled time on Jan. 2nd to find out she booked it for Feb. 2nd. I was very distraught and unhappy about this mistake. The lady on the phone was very polite and did what she could to save the situation by trying to rebook.  The times were inconvenient for the next day. We figured out a time to reschedule but I had to bring up if there’s anything she could do since we were so inconvenienced.  She finally gave us some free add on and $10 off. We ended having to go to this location vs the Lamar.  In the end, we were satisfied.  I had one of the best massages by David a

I bought a day pass with the intention of going to hang out at the pool, use the hot tub, sauna, steam room, and cool dip. The hot tub and cool dip were not working at all. The sauna was great. The pool water did not look clean. And the steam room smelled of mildew. So 1 of the 5 of those amenities was clean and working. It was disappointing and I wouldn’t want others to continue paying for amenities that are not kept up. So if those amenities are important to you, call and ask if they are working before you go. Otherwise, The environment is pretty and the food is good.

The SceneTucked away in the hills of the Westlake area, this small cabin-like building sits among the trees and winding roads. Cozy and intimate, the spa’s surroundings persuade patrons to unwind. Large sliding glass doors adorn the spacious treatment rooms, providing customers with plenty of daylight and quite a view. Subtle classical tunes accompany the real sounds of nature just outside. Fragrant organic oils used in the services scent the spa, satisfying yet another one of the five senses. The ServicesFor Swedish and deep tissue massages, the most requested treatments, the conscientious staff focuses on the client’s personal needs and problem areas. Supplement with an herbal wrap and enjoy the aromatic, heated linens and finishing face massage, or try one of the lavish facials. For a more hands-on body treatment, opt for the body polish and salt glow, which both exfoliates and moisturizes the skin, concluding with a half-hour back massage.

I went to try Myo because of the reviews, and I was pleased. I typically go to a day spa, but it has a high turnover rate due to its prices, and I get tired of always having to switch therapists. Myo was not what I was expecting. It does not aim for the posh, indulgent atmosphere of a day spa, which I kind of missed. Like they say, it is more of a bodywork center. There are no fancy locker rooms, etc., or people wandering all about in robes, like I am used to. You undress/change in the room where you receive the massage, before the therapist enters. One of the cool things, though, is the opportunity to select your own music during treatment. It may sound like a small thing, but I thought it was really neat, particuarly since ocean waves and new age music don’t really relax me. I had a 90 min. massage with Gina to address some tightness in my shoulder and knee from playing tennis. It was not a simple massage, but rather a very therapeutic form of treatment – she really focused

I am a pilot and I visit Austin frequently. I usually try different spas in the area, but I have found a SPA home. I had the most amazing facial! The woman was very knowledgeable about skin and products. I did the Ultimate Facial & it was almost 2 hours long. I loved the place because it was quiet, smelt great (didn’t smell like chemicals from nails or hair. The room was very elegantly decorated (the colors were warm) & the bed was nice and warm! I chose Jasmin for my aromatherapy and it was heavenly. I closed my eyes and relaxed because the room was lit with candles – it was calming……. I didn’t have ANY problems. The front desk person was very sweet & attentive. The facial I did was $150 plus gratuity. I don’t have a problem with the price, in fact I think it could of been more, considering how amazing my skin looked & felt afterwards. I have gone to Lake Austin spa & Salon 505 & paid a lot more for a 1 hour facial. Those facials didn’t even compare. So, I can see
