Where is the Best Reflexology & Foot Massage in Charlotte, North Carolina?
I had been spoiled when I moved here from Washington DC. My best friend there is a top stylist that is booked months in advance with all the “Who’s Who” of the DC metro area. So for the first few years I would fly back on E-savers for her to do my hair, but that became too inconvenient. I started searching and after TONS of trial and error, I finally found Jason at Varji. Both the south park location and the Morehead street location are nice. Jason mainly works at Morehead which works best for my Elizabeth location. However I have zero hesitation to travel to South Park when he is there. He takes the time to listen and his cut is fantastic. After my second visit he had my color down perfectly (he had to fix a mess I brought him the first visit). He really funny and kind, and makes you feel right at home. I have had several strangers stop me and ask me about my cut since I started seeing him in November. After my very first visit, my mother took one look at the results and bo
When I moved to Charlotte a year and half ago, I was looking desperately for a professional nail salon. I went to several without suceess and finally found the Wentford on Citysearch. On my first appointment, I knew I had found the place I was looking for…here it is over a year later and I am there every two weeks for my usual gel fills and when possible, a facial or massage. Words cannot express how much I love going to the Wentford. They have become friends that I get to see every other week…a time to relax, giggle, and be a girlie girl!In the beginning, I was having some problems with my skin. I was using my usual Bare Esscentials powder and Estee Lauder cleansers. However, after my first facial Terry explained that I was using products too harsh for my skin. It was stripping the moisture, which in turn caused the oil glands to overproduce leading to the breakouts. Now, I use the Jane Iredale powder foundation, SkinCeuticals face wash and moisturizer! My skin looks th
The hotel was really beautiful and the service was excellent. We were disappointed that there was no outdoor pool (only an indoor one) but they do have a nice spa area, so we hung out there instead. Also, when we ordered a cab to go back to the airport, we were told we should use the hotel’s luxury car service. The employee did not mention that the car service was double the price, but luckily we had the insight to make her tell us a specific rate (since she claimed it was only a little more) They claimed that cab service is unrealiable and that it is better to use the luxury cars. However, we had no issues with the cab and overall the stay was very nice. …
I was in Birkdale Village and stopped into Urbana spa. I was blown away with the decore and the people there. I got a tour of the place and was impressed with the whole operation. I scheduled a massage while I was there, and that weekend, wow! what a great massage! I first had tea in the lounge and listened to some great music. My hot stone massage was perfect and actually couldn’t have been better. They also have a wine list and told me about their happy hours. I asked at the front desk if all the therapist were as good as Rene. She was wonderful, and I highly recommend her but have also heard from friends about other therapists there being really great. I would like to tell everyone who is interested in massage that Urbana is the best I have ever experienced. Great place, and I will be going back soon! Pros + GreatCons – none
