Where is the Best Reflexology & Foot Massage in Austin, Texas?
I am a yoga teacher and I need a massage every couple of weeks. I was looking for someone that I could hand myself to and “let go”. When I arrived at Zen Blend, I was impressed with the energy inside. I could feel myself beginning to relax and feel good already. I was there with two other friends and we where scheduled to float, get a massage and hang out in the Zen garden. I started off with the Zen garden, I drank some wonderful mint tea and dark chocolate. I lounge in the hammock and watched the birds and the clear blue sky. I am really glad I got to do my own thing before the massage and float. It gave me some time with myself and I was so relaxed, which aloud me to fully embrace my experience with a clear mind. Then it was my turn to have a hot stone massage. Yummy, that was one of the best massages I have ever received. Kristi has a sweet, powerful and loving nature. I truly felt the love she has for giving to others. After my massage, I was off to float. I was not s
As a professional writer on medical issues, I’m skeptical about health claims not only by non-traditional medicine, but hospitals and MDs as well. I want quantifiable results before I believe anything. Merri Isom made no claims when I first became a client of her massage therapy practice. She just dealt with the immediate aches that my accelerated exercise program had caused. However, I found that Merri is much more than a massage therapist. Each session, we talked about my particular health issues and she slowly began offering ideas for dealing with them. Non-massage ideas. Something I had never expected when I first walked in.So, bottom line, here are my results. Not long ago, I suffered my first attack of gout, a painful joint inflammation caused by a build-up of uric acid in the blood. Merry didn’t just suggest I drink more water; she handed me a water bottle every time I arrived. Result: In two weeks, my gout-sensitive feet hurt far less and I was able to discontinue prescripti
I have been going to Spa at the Lake for three years. Denise cuts and colors my hair and she is tremendously talented and gives you what you want. People are constantly asking me where I get my haircut. Everyone that I have referred to her loves her. As far as the other services, they are wonderful. Massage and body scrubs are amazing, facials are great and manicures and pedicures, the best. Melissa, the owner, could not be nicer and the atmosphere is calm and serene. I start to relax the minute I walk in the door.My husband gave me a gift certificate for a day at the Spa when I first arrived in Texas and it was a great way to start my life here!
This guy is amazing. I met him when he was on tour in Portland. He worked on my wife who spent 3 weeks trying to convince me to see him. I wish I had listened sooner. He was only there for 2 days after I got my first massage and I got one more before he left. I’ve had massages all over the world, but have never experienced anything quite like what Erik does.I have flown to Austin to have him work on me twice. My company recently moved us here 🙂 Austin is Great!!!Erik’s work has helped me do things I haven’t been able to do for 10 years. He freed up my shoulder which kept me from doing most of the really fun things I like and has fixed it so my wife’s right foot doesn’t turn in and her knee doesn’t hurt any more. He is “so in to it.” He doesn’t just rub on you, he listens to your body, twists you in funky positions, does acupressure, and has something special that makes his touch healing. He changed our lives.Sometimes I just veg and listen to the music, other time
I got word of this place by the Groupon of the day. I had my best friend in town from FL, so we wanted to pamper ourselves. I called about 2 weeks in advance for a Jan. 2nd appointment. I had no problems and the person was very pleasant at the Lamar location. She mentioned we would receive a call to confirm our appointments. I didn’t get one and figured due to New Year’s Day, it might have been missed. I called before our scheduled time on Jan. 2nd to find out she booked it for Feb. 2nd. I was very distraught and unhappy about this mistake. The lady on the phone was very polite and did what she could to save the situation by trying to rebook. Â The times were inconvenient for the next day. We figured out a time to reschedule but I had to bring up if there’s anything she could do since we were so inconvenienced. Â She finally gave us some free add on and $10 off. We ended having to go to this location vs the Lamar. Â In the end, we were satisfied. Â I had one of the best massages by David a
