Where is the Best Private Party in New York, New York?
I am obsessed with this company! They helped me organize my first New Year’s Eve party last year in one of the private party rooms. It was literally the best party I have ever been to. The bartenders were amazing and actually looked happy to be working and serving us drink after drink after drink It was the first time I felt like I got what I was promised and then some. The drinks were strong; the staff was fun, and the Champaign toast equaled guzzling a bottle while dancing on the bar. People that I dont even know (but apparently heard about the party) have been calling me to ask if I will be doing the party again. So many, in fact, that I already started the process of renting out one of their bars for this year. I CANT WAIT! So far, I have had the same amazing experience with this company as I did in the past, and I expect that to continue through this party into the next. I went to Room 18 for my bday, and they said that they could accomodate a group of 20+ people. I went there a few minutes early to see how they set it up, but they did not set up yet even though the restaurant was empty. When I asked them where we would sit, the person in charge ignored me. Once they did set it up, they said that their table arrangement could accomodate 20 people. But it could not. A chunk of the evening was spent playing musical chairs and rearranging the tables so that everyone could find a place to sit. Some of my friends were not comfortable,and they did very little to make sure that they were. I organized my H.S. reunion all the way from Florida and let me tell you…there were tons of places that I called and the people were down right rude. But as soon I got in touch with Prey, it was nothing but proefessionalism from the start. Kristi, the events planner, was on top of her game. She really made me feel like everything would be ok when left in her hands. Again, I live in Florida so I was a little nervous. On 8/18 the spot was pumping and the music was great. All of my friends were happy to be together again and all of them gave kudos for choosing Prey. The guys really loved the flat screened TVs and some of them checked out sports in between drinks. Next time I have a party, I will definitely check them out again. Go Murry Bergtraum HS Class of 1996!Pros + Great AtmosphereCons – A little tight. Getting to the bathroom can be tricky.
