Everything about this place is perfect. It has it’s own small parking lot so you don’t have to deal with the headache of street parking. Upon entering there’s a small but cozy reception area and waiting room that offers tea and water for free. The receptionists are sweet, calming, and explain everything in a comforting way. Having never been there before they led us back and showed us everything. There’s a beautiful changing area with large and small cubbies to hold your belongings. The sink area has some wonderful decor and a water cooler with cups. The shower area is open and has 4 shower heads and foaming shower gel in a lovely tiled room. It was the most relaxing shower I’ve ever had. The sauna smells beautifully of cedar and is kept at just the right temperature. So, I made an appointment at Zama, with Katelyn Decker L.Ac. Katelyn was wonderful! I explained what my symptoms were (scratchy throat & itchy eyes), she read my pulses & went to town. The tiny tiny needles did not hurt at all. In fact, I felt completely relaxed, with a slight euphoric feeling. She sent me home with a bottle of commonly used (in the natural world) chinese herbs.
