Where is the Best Power Lunch in Denver, Colorado?

Since I moved to Denver last year I have dined at Racines 2-3 times a month. The food is always great and so is the atmosphere. However, the ONLY good service I have had at Racines is when I sit at the bar. The bartenders are always attentive and friendly, if not going above and beyond. It took me getting mediocre service in the dining room countless different times before I smartened up and moved to the bar. I work in the service industry so I am usually sympathetic towards servers overlooking small details. However, forgetting something I asked for FOUR times and then being rude to me about it is not such a small detail. I am also very understanding when I can see that a server is busy as long as that server can still present themselves with a smile. This is not the case at Racines. Every time I dine there when its busy, my server has been short with us, forgetful, slow, and even rude. This all came together for me last week when I was sitting at the bar. The same server I se

I came to Tamayo for my birthday dinner and was seriously impressed with everything that came to our table. My girlfriends and I started with margaritas and mojitos. I had the mango mojito and it was…

Definitely an older crowd. The drink special and appetizer specials are great! Lots of choices for beers on tap. Service was pretty attentive, but the bar tender was overwhelmed so refills were slow! The food was good ? I had the halibut with mashed lobster potatoes! They didn?t even complain when we asked to split the entree ? which was great, since it was a bit of food! We also enjoyed the spinach appetizer dip which was tasty and the chips were warm. Dark interior, and loud, but nice none the less. Patio was packed! We didn?t even try!Pros + Great happy hour specials, lots of seatingCons – Hard to get a seat on the patio

Let me preface this by saying Panzano may have gotten 5 stars from me, had it not been for the dinner I ate at Barolo Grill. This was very good in all regards. The mixed greens salad was very bland, with no dressing to speak of. The main course was a salmon and shrimp ravioli in a lobster bisque sauce. The sauce was amazing, although I must admit, lobster bisque is among my favorite things in the world, when done right. The ravioli was well cooked, as was the mixture of salmon and shrimp. The wait staff was fine, but read my other reviews if you want good (and bad) waitstaff. So overall, for the money, it was a solid 4 stars. Pros + FoodCons – Price, Parking

1515 was a great dining experience. It is a great place for a date! The service was attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend getting the chef’s tasting menu. We did the 5 course meal which had a great sampling of the chef’s creations. The chef trained in Paris and also worked at Everest in Chicago. The food was fresh and creative with great flavors. I would recommend this restaurant!Parking is validated if you park in the lot just past Qdoba on Market!Pros + Great service, great date spot, the cuisine!Cons – None
