Where is the best position to mount my radar detector unit?
This is another highly debated topic. Unfortunately, again, there is no one simply answer. The best-case scenario would be that you have one of the remote radar detector kits such as the Bel RX75 remote, as featured in the PRS3-B Prowler Remote package. This radar detector has the antenna mounted, hidden, in the front grill, and the Visual Display Unit (VDU), hidden in the driver compartment. If you have a Blinder laser jammer already installed, or intend to purchase one, then you should mount your detector up high on the windscreen, usually above your rear vision mirror.
