Where is the Best Pool Table in San Francisco, California?
I love this place, free darts, pool in the back, good food until 10pm. I recommend the fish and chips. I believe this is a English pub not Irish as the other comments said, but I could be wrong. I have always found the patrons to be friendly and the staff very helpful. I live right up the street so, I would say this is not a place to bring a date because you would have 30 drunken Irish and English chaps hitting on her as the guy to girl ratio is pretty bleak. For my local spot this is it! Good luck trying to get them to turn on the Giants or Warriors if their is Soccer on. Soccer, GEESH. Pros + Plenty of seating and plenty of drink choices, food for around $10. Cons – Drunk soccer fans. No chicks besides the bar tenders and some dudes haggerd drunk chick.
Kilowatt’s resisted the gentrification sweeping the Mission and stayed what it’s always been: a great neighborhood bar. You get a wide range of brews (including some microbrews), a jukebox and great happy hour deals. A bunch of yahoos slumming it in the Mission fill the place on weekend nights, but on weekdays, it’s filled with regulars. Perfect for an after-work drink. Plus, it’s a cheesehead bar (go Packers!).
TJ the security bouncer has a rap sheet including: Weapons of Mass Destruction Domestic Abuse (multiple times and women) and Felon Drug Trafficing Dear Owners: You have had a women complain that TJ molested her in an attack and you did nothing! You tried to cover it up and bully me with threats of discrimination. I have saved your emails with descriptions of his criminal actions. I pray that the woman you speak about is safe from TJ harm and harassment. I am not a bar frequent and I do not drink. I have no desire to set foot in your business and I would not want anyone subject to your convicted felon security bouncer.
