Where is the best place to visit in France?

Personally, I find Paris overrated + not as good for sightseeing as other cities in France. I recommend the Vendee area of France, in the West region. I was there for 4 months, it rained about once a week and temperatures reached 36C, this was in Feb – Early June. There’s lots to do, the beaches are AMAZING, there are some lovely restaurants lining the seafronts. There is plenty to do in the surrounding areas, from visiting castles to getting on a boat to see Fort Boyard. There are plenty of activity parks as they call them in France. There’s also a brilliant zoo and a few decent museums. You’ll enjoy it if you go Vendee, I guarantee.
