Where is the best place to install the outside antenna?
At a location high enough to be free from any obstructions, 6 meters horizontally away from persons, and in the strongest signal area as indicated by your cell phone. The outside antenna must also be a minimum of 40′ away (HD22470) or 5′, up to 20′, (HD22468 and HD22469) and on the other side of an exterior wall from the inside antenna. Avoid locating the outside antenna where a dense and heavy tree line, especially pine trees, obstruct the line-of-sight between it and the cell site tower.
