There are no beaches or waterparks in Paris, but it is vibrant and has a good night life in any season. Except perhaps in the very South of France, beaches will still be very cold in April and though you may find plenty for a bracing walk on the Normandy or Brittany coast, the night life will be minimal in the seaside resorts at that time of the year. You could fly to Nice on the Mediterranean coast, or Biarritz/ Bayonne on the Atlantic coast in the Basque country: good beaches and night life, plenty of things to do during the day, and warmer than higher up on the map.
