I have an Apple Mac and have downloaded some free software called ‘Handbrake’ this can convert your DVD’s to an MP4 format specifically for your ipod. Once it has ripped them to MP4 just drag it into your movies folder on iTunes and it will sync onto your iPod next time you connect it. Just be aware that the ripping can sometime take a while.
