Where is the best place to buy good quality,cheap used cars?
I think the best place to buy a used car anywhere would be a new car dealer. They seem to have a better reputation than a used car lot or a buy here pay here lot. And they have more access to used cars. They can buy from auctions and get “program cars/trucks” that have low mileage and were driven by the brands employees. Usually well taken care of. Or they can buy from rental places like Budget or Enterprise. As far as coming to New Jersey to get a “bargain”, you may be able to get a car/truck for less money, and you may have a bigger selection, I would still stay away from smaller used car dealerships and “buy here pay here” lots, and stick to larger new car dealerships even though you are looking for a used car. New car lots may try to pressure you into buying a new vehicle, just be firm and stick to what you want and can afford.
