Where is the best place to buy coffee and rum to take home?
Buy your coffee when you go into town on the shopping trip (CN provides transportation to 3 or 4 different areas, one is a craft park). You should not pay more than $13 to $14 dollars per pound. Make sure the coffee has the “Coffee Board Seal of Approval” identifying it as Authentic Blue Mountain Coffee. Keep your coffee receipt if you buy ground coffee because the bag is a hard brick- shaped package. (On one of our trips security opened three bags to make sure that it was not drugs; we had to explain to people why their gifts had been sliced open with a knife!). Buy your rum at the airport as the prices are very competitive and most of the times better than what you get in town, plus they’ll pack it up for you in a carry-on box.
