Where is the best place on the web to find free old time radio programs?
I would highly recommend http://www.archive.org/ as a great source for old time radio shows. The Internet Archives includes public domain audio and video uploaded by users of the site. I volunteer for the Old Time Radio Researchers group, which assembles the best-sounding surviving episodes of particular series and puts them into collections at archive.org. You can search for “otrr” there and it will bring them up. I collect the original discs that were used for old time radio broadcasts (known as “transcriptions”) and operate an ongoing blog where I offer unusual old time radio shows for free. It’s at http://randsesotericotr.podbean.com/ — I usually post three or four new shows each week and donate high quality archival digital copies of the transfers from the original discs to the Old Time Radio Researchers group for their collections.
