Emusic, at www.emusic.com, is the best for value. The music they sell is in high quality mp3, without any drm. This means yu can copy it, burn it as many times as you want, etc. Unfortunately, while they have an extremely good selection of indi and smaller labels, they don’t have much soney music or big label music. However, they do have a good selection of oldies; many labels have put a lot of the back catelog up, if that’s what you enjoy. If you want more up to date big name acts, I would recomend napster or the service from real networks. These two services allow you to download and play as many tracks as you want, and pay a monthly subscription only. If you like music, this is much cheaper than purchasing all the albums you might want outright.
