Where is the best place for metal detecting for gold in australia,how much will you realisticly find?
I have been gold detecting and found it hot dusty fly ridden heavy going without finding anything, but by saying that there is a possibility you can go out and find it. The chances are a bit like winning lotto . Today the metal detectors are better and go deeper so many people do find it and after the wet season then that’s better again Gold rises in time so one can walk an area for a long time with out a find then go back 6 months later and find some. So it’s one of those hobbies that you must be dedicated to or luck has to be on your side.
