Portland’s is an all-around great dining experience. The dining room is small enough that you receive great personal attention from your server. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and the extensive wine list. Our wine selection couldn’t have been better paired with our meals, and the prices were in line with the quality, unlike some places that like to inflate prices. This is a great place for a date – either in jeans or dressed up. The bar was rocking the night we were there, but the restaurant proved to be quiet enough for conversation. All around a terrific experience. My only complaint is that the fish I ordered was overcooked. Perhaps that’s my own fault for ordering fish in the desert …?

Since arriving here in Phoenix, I’d say I’ve driven several hundred miles in search of REAL pizza, and I finally found it at Grimaldi’s. Their pizza is true to the traditional New York style, and is absolutely identical to the pizza found at the original Patsy Grimaldi’s, located in my old home town, Brooklyn, New York. Everything is fantastic— food, service, and value, and the place is very clean. Try it, you’ll like it!Pros + Nice wine selection, very child friendly, great atmosphereCons – need Arrowhead store

Going to the Homewood, IL original Aurelio’s as a kid for dates, it is the best. Spinato’s has the same recipe from a long-ago partnership with Joe Aurelio. The only thing missing is the crispy cheese on top. Service is OUTSTANDING, and the pizza brings you back to the same thin-crust, South Chicago style from back home. The north side of Chicago has their deep dish pizza, and the south side has the thin crust. Mmmm. If you miss the sweet red sauce of an Aurelio’s Pizza, make the trip today!Pros + 4 locations to choose from, great service, taste from back home in ChicagoCons – None

I have to agree with the other guy who wrote that there was a pizza n-zi working there (N. Scottsdale location). There is DEFINETLY a very rude and psychotic man that works there who if God forbid is working alone will make you wait 10 minutes to order while he finishes wiping down the counter and then makes you wait another 10 minutes to pay if you use a credit card (which he doesn’t like… I guess bring cash). DO NOT ask for Olives on the side or he may not sell you the pizza at all. I made that mistake and he informed me there were no sides but he will sell me an olive for 10 cents each. Then when I said that was fine and handed him my credit card again… he made me wait another 5 minutes to pay. He apparently had to go back and dry all the countertops immediately prior to taking the card which I was trying to hand him. Then when he finally came back he said that I could not use the credit card for anything under 2 dollars. I told him I didn’t have cash and he told me that was fin

Oh Yum. Seriously this place is the best! We’ve been customers at De Falco’s for the past 4 years and keep a very special warm place for it in our hearts! We buy our sammys there, purchase fresh pizza dough, have our cheese sliced and purchase our Italian groceries here. Man, the best service your heart could desire. Always a friendly and familiar face to help you and what’s more is that the guys who work there loooove the food too! Must trys: if you like coffee try a latte – THE best coffee you’ve EVER had! Rice-balls with sauce, soooo good! Cheese sandwich and Procuitto sandwiches are really yummy. Yay! I love this place!!!Pros + To die for coffee drinks and food with the friendliest service imaginableCons – NONE
